Hi,

did something go wrong with http://tug.org/svn/texlive ? Neither the
web interface (“An Exception Has Occurred. The root "texlive" is
unknown.”) nor the Subversion CLI (“svn: E170013: Unable to connect to
a repository at URL 'svn://tug.org/texlive/trunk'”) can talk to it.

Best,
Johannes

Yes. It'll be back soon (an hour or two, maybe). -k

Probably too optimistic. The TL repository is huge, so everything takes
a long time. I made a stupid human error, and have to bring it back.

I turned off all the cron jobs, so I doubt there will be any update
tonight, unless I can finish the restore steps soon enough.

Please refrain from committing ... I need to keep the server running at
this point (the cgi is a no-op for now though).

Sigh. Sorry. -k

I just finished recommitting the lost changes from my error and have
reenabled the cgi. There will be no nightly rebuild tonight.

My existing repos still seem to work ok after the recovery, which rather
amazes me. I'll be even more amazed if the whole svn->git thing keeps
going ok. If problems show up, might have check out again.

For the record, I did not bother to recommit the automated
checkins of doc.html etc in the previous world's 48794 and 48795
(https://tug.org/pipermail/tex-live-commits/2018-October/date.html).
They'll all get remade when the next build happens.

We'll see. Sorry ... -k

There was one hickup with respect to a commit, so you need to do
git fetch origin
git reset --hard origin/trunk
(assuming that your remote is named "origin")

Best
